The Meeting With Oyo State Governor-Davido



Yesterday being Friday remaineth a day worthy to be celebrated, a day of joy and as well a remarkable day as the popular Nigerian artiste David Adedeji Adeleke (born November 21, 1992), who is better known as Davido paid a visit to Oyo state governor (his  excellency Oluwaseyi Makinde).

 The singer, songwriter and record producer who studied business administration at Oakwood University before dropping out to make beats and record vocal references paid the visit at the governor's Lodge. the governor during his discussion with  the star who was born in Atlanta, U.S and raised up in Lagos Nigeria said he admires davido's life and that he has been a philanthropist since he knows him as a musician.

 Speaking further the governor told the star that the payment to whatsoever good one does to his fellow can never be paid back on this planet earth rather in heaven by God himself and that he is pleading with him to never stop his life of philanthropy for any reason and that he should never look back upon what people who don't love Goodwill will always talk against him.

 Davido who rose to fame after releasing "Dami Duro"  complemented the governor before posing to take pictures with him, during which he said " Ever since I first heard of your triumph and good governance in OYO State I’ve been wanting to meet you and I’m glad I did! You truly inspire me and with leaders like you the future is definitely bright! God bless you, you are the leader of the people by the people, well done Sir"
