The Nigerian president Mohammadu Buhari has advised Nigerians never to forget the issue the international community as a whole suffer today.

His excellency Buhari said that despite the joy and celebration of Eid el Fitr that we should not stop observing the WHO's guidelines for the fight against covid-19.

The president who made the commentary after his service in the Mosque of Allah in the presidential villa at Abuja said we should keep on reflecting on the virtues and lessons of the season and that the Almighty Allah will see us all through this pandemic period.

In his statements his Excellency  said "My dear people of Nigeria, even as we mark the successful end of the Ramadan, and the commemoration of Eid-el-Fitr, we are doing so mindful of the times we are in. Let us continue to reflect on the lessons and virtues of this season, and sustain them beyond the celebrations. Let us make it our prayer topic theat the Almighty  Allah will lead us out of this deadly virus. I wish you all Eid Mubarak"

Speaking further, his Excellency said that his administration is doing everything possible to maintain peace and progress in the country and that it is each and everyone of us responsibility to join in this strugle of maintaining peace and unity in the country
